At Marcel, every garment is a labor of love—handmade with the highest attention to craftsmanship, detail, and luxury. We hope you adore your piece, but if you are not entirely satisfied, we’re here to make the return process as seamless as possible.

Returns

Eligibility

  • We accept returns within 14 days of delivery.

  • Items must be unworn, unused, and in their original condition, with all tags and packaging intact.

  • Due to the bespoke and handmade nature of our clothing, custom, personalized, or made-to-measure items are final sale, unless they arrive damaged or faulty.

  • Custom-made or made-to-measure garments

  • Personalized items

  • Gift cards

  • Sale items marked "Final Sale"

How to Initiate a Return

Please email us at support@marcelatelier.com with your order number, reason for return, and any relevant photos if applicable. You will receive a response within 1–2 business days with detailed return instructions.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is damaged or incorrect.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, you will be notified via email. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.
Please note:

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable

  • Refunds may take additional time depending on your bank or credit card provider

If an item is returned in a condition that does not meet our policy, we reserve the right to reject the return and send the item back to you.

Exchanges

As our collections are handmade in limited quantities, we do not offer direct exchanges. If you need a different size or style, we recommend placing a new order and returning the original item if eligible.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrives damaged or faulty, please notify us within 3 days of delivery by emailing support@marcelatelier.com with:

  • Your order number

  • Clear photos of the damage

  • A brief description of the issue

We will prioritize your case and offer a replacement or full refund, depending on the situation.

International Returns

We are proud to serve clients worldwide. Please note the following for international orders:

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, including any customs duties or taxes incurred when shipping the item back to us.

  • Refunds will be issued in the original purchase currency, minus any duties, taxes, or fees Marcel has incurred.

  • We recommend using a trackable shipping method and retaining proof of postage. Marcel is not responsible for lost or delayed international returns.
